Hey, everyone! I bet you lot have been wondering where I’ve been, eh? I’ve been travelling about and have been out of town every 2-3 weeks since the end of January. I’ve been as far East as Texas and as far North as Washington. I’m not going to lie - I’ve been fucking lazy. Well, it’s not just that I’ve been lazy, but I’ve been crazy busy as well. My desktop took a crap when I got back from Washington, but I’m going to go work on building a new one tonight! Once I get that squared away I’m heading to CA on Tuesday, got a test back here in Vegas on Friday morning and got traffic school after that, but after all of THAT I’m going to begin working on a new layout for this site. I’m changing the format a bit and the content as well, and then I’ll work on getting back into the swing of thing as well. So, yeah, that’s about all for now!
I know it’s been a while since I’ve posted anything but, suffice it to say, shit has been crazy. I’ve had a lot going on lately, I’ve been through like 3-4 jobs since my last update and, well, yeah. But I’ve been starting to get things back in order lately and I’m going to update this sucker soon! I’ve got a backlog of reviews to post… now it’s just a matter of me finding them in all of my crap I’ll get to it before too long!
I have a backlog of reviews that are waiting to go up, so I apologize for the delay, mates! I’ve been having to deal with everyday bullshit, so I’ve been way too exhausted to do much of anything, really! We even have a review solely by Taiki, The Vegas Ninja!
Anyhow, I will be adding those new reviews “soon”, plus I will also be adding links to text-versions of the reviews, as requested by our cabin boy/powder monkey.
Also, any of you lots have any leads on a part time job for the most awesome pirate captain in Vegas? I’m just saying…
Also also, TVP turned 1 back in July and I’ve been so busy I fucking missed it! We’ll have to plan some epic event for next year.
Well, my scanner seems to be temporarily out of order. I’m going to try to grab my stack of reviews and see if the scanner at work is actually in working order!!!
ETA: OH HEY I FIXED THE SCANNER. By plugging it in. *headdesk*
Sorry for the lack of updates lately - my computer died when I moved into the new place and I haven’t had enough time to set it back up (Yeah - I’m THAT busy that I can’t even devote time to my most beloved computer!!!). I do have new reviews to post, though, so I’m working on it!
Also, this domain is set to expire on August 1st, and I’m dealing with some hurdles in trying to renew it. Ugh!
Ahoy, mateys. I’m just dropping in to inform you of a small change to our strange spot on the web. While the reviews will remain unchanged — they will continue to be strange rants scribbled upon various debris and scanned in for your viewing and deciphering pleasure — I will now also be adding periodic blog posts, such as this one, commenting on who knows what. I’ve been neglecting the site a touch, but only because life has been a bit of chaos lately, what with moving and bees and my job in a new office (where I am right now).
At least my new schedule affords me (mostly) the time and availability to partake in BNBLV (that’s “Beer N Blog Las Vegas”, folks) meetings once again! I very much look forward to those.
Anyhow, I’m exhausted and have just over 2 1/2 more hours here at work, so maybe I’ll be able to drum up enough energy to make a real post on here. We’ll see.
433 Spam Comments in about 1 1/2 hours time. Amazing. Anyway, apologies for the lack of new goodies lately. We’ve been stuck in the undertow known as “moving”. We’re finally moved in to a nice condo in a beautiful neighborhood in the Lakes; nice but for two things: first is, we’ve an epic bee problem. It’s so bad that our entire complex knows us as “the bee people” and security (who is trying to resolve the issue) frequents our place to gaze upon our buzzing beasts. The second is the fun of learning our landlord is a slumlord with whom our complex is having some issues. Joy. Guess we can forget about getting any of the repairs and necessary work in our place done, eh?
Anyone reading this know much about Renter’s Rights and the laws and such?
